MSCI's environmental, social and governance (ESG) Ratings awarded Air Products an ‘A’ rating based on the company's improvements in its carbon management strategy, including carbon capture efforts, its announced goal to reach net-zero carbon emissions from operations by 2050, and other sustainability initiatives. In its review, MSCI rated Air Products an ESG leader in its industry in two categories: clean tech, and safety and health.

Air Products was named one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity for 2023 by Forbes magazine. Moving up from 17th in 2022 to number four in the annual overall rankings, Air Products is ranked as the top company in the construction, oil and gas operations, mining and chemicals industry group.

For the 6th year in a row, and the 12th time overall, Air Products has earned a spot in the 2024 S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, one of the world’s most comprehensive publications providing in-depth analysis on corporate responsibility. To earn a spot in the Yearbook, a company must rank within the top 15 percent of companies in its industry and must achieve an S&P Global Sustainability Score within 30 percent of the industry’s top-performing company.
